Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Peter, whose enthusiasm was contagious as he shared tips on local dining and activities while guiding us through our spacious room adorned in calming earthy tones. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the delightful breakfast, featuring perfectly cooked scrambled eggs that made for a splendid start to our Highland adventures. This four-star B&B shines as an ideal base for exploring the stunning landscapes and cultural offerings of the Highlands, from cruising the River Ness to indulging in the local whisky trail. For those seeking tranquility away from urban life, Heathcote is an enchanting choice, offering both relaxation and a gateway to Scotland's breathtaking outdoors.
